My name is Valeriy Vorobev.

I live in Russia (the Republic of Komi) in a small northern town of Pechora. The city of Pechora stands on the bank of a large river with the same name Pechora.

It’s a severe place, summer is short, winter is long and cold. But despite this, our people are wonderful, with a big, broad and kind soul.

The Ural Mountains are located right next to the city (by our standards). I’ve been there – amazing places with its harsh beauty. It made an indelible impression on me with its silent beauty. The Ural mountains are rich in their bowels. In the Urals, there are a lot of precious and ornamental stones. Since ancient times, people living throughout the Urals have been engaged in the processing of gems and have created unique decorations.

The Urals are famous for its talented people. And it seems to me that this is quite natural. When there is such a splendor around you, you involuntarily join in to the beautiful and you want to create, create beautiful things yourself. Nature has created a certain level of beauty, below which you can no longer fall in your work.

Personally, I worked all my life in different directions. I’ve been decorating for ten years. Very useful experience, when for several years, under the guidance of very good masters, I learned to process stones and work with metals.

I do not consider myself to be a great jeweler, but nevertheless – I have a great experience. I am going to share my experience with you.
