For the copper wire wrapped pendant that we are going to make today, I used a natural copper wire with a thickness of 1 mm and 0.4 mm.

Let’s take a closer look at how to make a copper wire wrapped pendant using wire and stones with a hole. The technique itself is quite simple, but it requires a fair amount of time and patience. To make the pendant we will need:
A small set of hand tools.
A flat stone with a hole. I used a 30X40mm agate.
Copper wire.
Four pieces of 1 mm thick copper wire about 50 cm each. You should have a large stock of 0.4 mm thick copper wire.
You need to weave three thick wires in the middle. You can use any type of weaving.

Bend the weaving of wire around the stone. The weaving should end on both sides near the holes on the stone.
Insert the fourth piece of wire into the hole and bend it as shown in the photo.
Connect the weaving with stone and wire.
Weave together four wires on each side.
Bend the weaving.
Bind all the thick wires together with a thin wire.
From the eight wires woven together, we will make a loop for the chain. We need to weave at least 3 cm.
Then weave the wire as shown in the photo.
Bend and slip into the hole.
This is the back side of the pendant (the photo below).
On the front side, nicely bend the wire.
Place the weaving on the back side of the pendant.
Cut off the wire with wire cutters.
And bend inside the loop.
We need to place two weavings on the front side.
On the front side, they need to be bent nicely into a spiral.
Let’s put the ends of the weavings back on the back side.
Cut the ends, bend and attach (sew) them to the weaving using thin wire.
The copper wire wrapped pendant is done.
If necessary, patinate the wire and then polish. Thread the chain into the loop.
