Memory Wire – What exactly is it
Memory wire is a stiff, steel wire which has a shape of a circle. It may be sized and colored in different ways. This wire suits for making bracelets, chokers and necklaces, it keeps the shape of a circle really well. This wire gives us an opportunity to make fancy jewelry really fast. You don’t have to use special tools, cutters and round nose pliers are enough, which you can buy in any hardware store. Today we will make a necklace decorated with the real agate. You can use memory wire to make chokers for your pendants . Trust me, they will look really nice if you use memory wire.
Tools, required to work with memory wire.
As I have already mentioned, if you work with ordinary wire, don’t use the same cutters while working with memory wire. You should definitely choose another cutters, the bigger ones. Memory wire is really stiff so it can damage your favorite tools. You’d better just go and buy big brand-new cutters and round nose pliers, the ones that electricians use.

Memory wire.
Memory wire may be presented in different sizes, that’s why it can be used for different purposes. Usually it is used for making bracelets and necklaces. You can choose the appropriate color and thickness for you. Today we will use the wire which diameter is 12 cm and thickness is 0,8 mm. I have bought it in that store.
Accessories for jewelry.
We will use a silicone cord for the choker, it has a hole inside and overall thickness is 4 mm. The wire will be placed inside of this chord.

Tips, “tops”, caps, call it as you wish, for a silicone cord – I have found them just recently. I am going to describe the main problem. Usually I use copper, it means that I need a color of ancient copper. Moreover, I work with different kinds of fittings (different size) – so, I need a wide range. I can’t help but describe you my life story.
In young age, I have been to Northern Timan (Russia) several times. The canyons on the Belaya river are so impressive! Can you even imagine it – such a beauty among the wild tundra!

It has an ordinary saw cut. Polished from both sides. The average size is about 2×4 cm. It is stated in the description that the set consists of 19 pieces. But in fact, you receive about 20-21 pieces. Two or three may be defective. The are kind of “empty”, you can see it on the photo below.
It is very convenient that the agates do have holes in it, a wire 1 mm thick goes inside very easily. So, you can not to bother about the fastening and make a jewelry using a copper wire very fast and simply.
So, closer to the point. What do we need: memory wire, silicone cord, agate with a whole inside, four caps, four beads, a lock with a spring hook and your gifted hands, of course.
