Wire Wrap tutorial. Step by step master classes – Pendants Tree of Life with their own hands.
I work with natural stones and natural metals (copper, nickel silver, brass, bronze, test silver 925).
Use appropriate wire thickness. I make jewelry of wire 1 mm (18 ga) and 0.4 mm (26 ga) thick. You can use wire with a thickness of 0.8 mm (20 ga) and 0.3 mm (28 ga).
To make the Tree of Life pendant, we need a stone cabochon and copper wire 1 mm and 0.4 mm thick. You can replace the copper wire with another wire. Usually I use long pieces of wire. You can always cut off excess wire at the end of the job.
A set of hand tools:
In my videos you often see a hand tool as in the photo below. I recommend you use such a tool.
For my jewelry I use only natural wire (copper, nickel silver, bronze, brass, silver). I patinate jewelry with wire with special solutions and polish with felt circles using polishing pastes. Sometimes, so that the wire does not darken over time, I coat the metal with a special varnish.
I don’t speak much, I don’t like writing, I translate poorly into English. Sorry…
But, I take many detailed photos for you!
All jewelry I make made from natural stones with my own hands for you with love.
Basic weaves. Wire wrap tutorials.
Discover Basic weaves to use with one, two, three and four… wire frames.
Once you know how to achieve the basic weaves, you can do so much with wire work. It is really simple when you know how.
I used 1 mm wire for the frames and 0.4 mm wire for the weaving as this helps to keep the weaving neat.
